Success or sabotage?

My campaign cards are disappearing rapidly from everywhere I put them out.

That suggests two possibilities:

1. There is an enormous amount of interest in my campaign.

or

2. Someone is taking them all.

Ready to kiss hands and shake babies.

My campaign cards came in yesterday, and I've already begun passing them out.

Feedback so far has been universally positive.

How I spent my weekend.

Other than the aforementioned press release, I also began working on some advertisements.

It may be too expensive to run them in the newspaper, so I'm considering just printing them out myself and making copies.



Here are a couple of them, in case you want to help by printing them out and distributing them. I set them up so I could fit five on a page, to keep expenses down. Just make sure you set your page setup to "landscape."

A first.

I just sent out my first Press Release, to the Hill n Holler Review, announcing my candidacy. In the weeks to come, I will send similar releases to other local papers.

I started working on my first print ad last night.

Then I looked into how expensive it would be to run it in the local paper. It may be cost-prohibitive.

Kkountry 95 reported the Thayer races this morning.

For some reason, they called me "David Hutchison."

I called and let them know about the error and Mike Robertson said he'd fix it before the noon broadcast.

Filing Deadline Passes.

It looks like it's only going to be me and Mike Harber running for Ward I Alderman this time.

Deadline.

Today is the last day for anyone wishing to sign up to run for City Council.

The more, the merrier!

Kickoff announcement.

I signed up to run for Thayer Alderman last week. So far my only other opponent is the incumbent, Mike Harber.

Election Day is April 8th.
